Safety Harbor Public Meetings via Zoom

Due to COVID-19 and to protect the health and safety of our residents and visitors, the City of Safety Harbor has devised to host the City’s public meetings using virtual and audio communications technology. This means that members of the public who wish to tune in or comment during the meeting will have several options.

What services are available?

Permit and inspection services; and utility billing payments/inquiries.

What if I need services that are not permit, inspection, or utility billing related?

Please call 727-724-1555 for information regarding your required service. City Staff are available from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Some services will be handled by electronic means (skype and zoom), and/or appointment only.

Where should I enter City Hall?

The public are required to enter City Hall through the doors located on Main Street.

What if I am sick or experiencing symptoms of fever, cough, chills, etc.?

The public will not be permitted in any facilities if experiencing symptoms such as fever, cough, chills, etc.

Before entering City Hall, what will I need to do?

The public are required to sign in at the table located in the breezeway before entering the front City Hall on Main Street.

Where do I exit City Hall?

The public are required to exit City Hall through the back door. ADA access will be available through the front door located on Main Street.

Will physical distancing be required and monitored?

CDC recommends that we limit close contact with others outside our household by staying at least 6 feet (about 2 arms’ length) from other people. There will be floor markings in the lobby directing the public. Staff will be monitoring the environment for compliance.

How can I pay my utility bill?

The front counter will be open to accept utility billing payments and/or other services Monday through Friday – 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Citizens are encouraged to continue to pay their utility bill using the mail, the drop box located to the right of City Hall’s front door, online, or through direct debit. When will we get back to normal?

This is a tough question…remember, we are in this together and we will make the necessary tweaks and adjustments along the way to protect the health and safety of our employees and our citizens.

Is City Hall being cleaned?

City facilities, to include touchpoints, are being cleaned daily. City Staff are also cleaning their own workspaces and publicly used areas throughout the day as well as using hand sanitizer frequently, and disinfecting items daily and/or before using.

How can I stop the spread of COVID-19?

Avoid close contact with people who are sick; cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash; avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth; when in public wear a cloth face covering; clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces; stay home when you are sick; and wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.
